5/16" Headhunter Sling Shaft

Description:

This is a 5/16” diameter sling shaft that is designed for for use with a sling that has a reel. The 5/16" diameter is our heaviest hitting and strongest sling shaft. This shaft has a tuned flopper that will stay open once it is engaged. The stainless steel slide ring rides freely on the shaft and is held captive by a semi-permanent machined stopper.

After more than a decade of using nothing but a sling, this stopper system is designed to give you trouble free use without the sliding ring getting stuck. And use can use a lighter to burn off the loctite and remove the slide ring and end cap so they can be transfered to a fresh shaft when needed. 

 The shaft and end cap stopper iare made from heat treaded 17-4 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance as well as bending resistance.
